Overview
The Carbon Offroad Scout Pro Extreme Duty Performance Series winches are built for frequent winching in harsh offroad conditions. They are suited to heavily loaded vehicles or towing applications where consistent recovery performance is required.
With larger modulus gearsets compared to the CW-12K and increased motor horsepower, the Scout Pro series is engineered for sustained recovery use. The winch is supplied with a synthetic rope and rope thimble and is compatible with fairleads selected to suit the installation.
Did you know: “Module” is the unit of size that indicates how big or small a gear is. It is the ratio of the reference diameter of the gear divided by the number of teeth.
The Scout Pro series winches share the same 2023 Version 3 winch chassis as the Carbon Offroad 12K. This allows fitment into many larger 4x4 utes and wagons. Due to the longer 7.0HP motor, clearance and fitment length should be confirmed using the technical drawings prior to installation. Fitment responsibility remains with the end user or installer.
The 15,000lb winch is supplied with 11mm high density pre stretched premium UHMWPE synthetic winch rope rated at 9000kg minimum breaking strain, fitted with a heavy duty braced rope thimble.
